Fey, village and municipality of the Vaud district of Gros-de-Vaud in the heart of the plateau. The village of Fey is crossed right through by two roads, it has four exits:

• One to the south-west in the direction of Lausanne which is about 25 km away.


• One north-east towards Yvonand which is about 17 km away.


• One to the south-east towards Moudon which is about 13 km away.


• One north-west towards Orbe which is about 10 miles away.

The territory of the municipality is located on the plateau which extends between the Menthue and its tributary, the Sauteru. It touches those of Bercher and Boulens to the northeast, Peyres-Possens (Municipality of Montanaire) and Naz (Municipality of Montilliez) to the east, Sugnens (Municipality of Montilliez) to the south, Villars-le-Terroir and Vuarrens to the west, de Pailly and Rueyres to the north. The village is at the crossroads of the roads which go from Echallens to Bercher and from Moudon to Vuarrens. Fey has been on the Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher railway line since 1889. From Fey it is easy to take the highway to Chavornay, Crissier or Blécherette. It is also very easy to reach the road to Yverdon-les-Bains, a town which is about 15 km away.
