The customs house, built around 100 years ago, is located in the middle of nature in the hamlet of "Brend" near the Berisal and the Simplon Pass. The 3-room apartment on the 2nd floor with its attic is the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet and an ideal starting point for hikes in the Simplon area. The apartment is accessed via an interior staircase, and there is also a special garden area. The apartment is a condominium. The apartment offers a wonderful holiday atmosphere and enough space for the whole family. If possible, the attic belonging to the apartment can be used as additional storage or living space. The furniture and inventory are included.

The beautiful, traditional house is extremely charming in both summer and winter. The peace and quiet is probably only disturbed by grazing cows.


The hamlet of Brend is located in the Simplon area, near Berisal and below the Simplon Pass road. In summer, the area is accessible via countless hiking trails towards Simplon, Italy or Rosswald.

In winter, the nearby Rothwald/Wasenalp is a small but beautiful ski area with a total of 25 km of slopes and three ski lifts. Thanks to the stunning panorama and a well-developed trail network, you can go snowshoeing or touring.
