From 1808 to 1812, the Reinach cotton manufacturer Heinrich Gautschi (1755 to 1826) had a massive three-story residential and commercial building built in the Alzbach. At the turn of the 19th century, the Gautschi company was the largest cotton company in the entire Bernese Aargau region.
The residential and commercial building, which was built as the headquarters of the successful Reinach cotton manufacturing family Gautschi and expanded in 1860, is a representative brick building of impressive dimensions. Between 2015 and 2017, the building was extensively renovated in collaboration with the monument preservation authorities. The ground floor contains commercial space, while the municipal kindergarten with one group of toddlers and one group of kindergarten children has moved into the first floor.
Five apartments were built on the 2nd floor and in the two attics, each facing south towards the outside area. The offer includes two 4½ room apartments as maisonettes, one 3½ room apartment and two 2½ room apartments.
The entrance to the parking garage can be easily reached directly from the main road via the side street. The parking spaces are a comfortable size and guarantee effortless parking. From the hall you can reach the directly adjacent staircase with a passenger lift.
Heat contracting: save energy and costs. A separate heating center was installed for the entire Gautschi area. It consists of 11 thermal solar systems and a natural gas boiler. The contractual partner guarantees operational safety and reliability at all times. The buyer does not have to purchase any shares in the heating center and only pays an annual fee for shared use. With heat contracting, the energy is distributed and used optimally.
Reinach in the south of the canton of Aargau forms the centre of the upper Wynental together with the neighbouring communities of Menziken, Burg and Pfeffikon. The exposed location in the triangle of Aarau - Lucerne - Zurich and short distances to the large urban centres as well as attractive local recreation areas characterise the special living and quality of life in the community. Lucerne, Aarau and Olten can be reached in less than half an hour, and Zurich is less than an hour away. Lake Hallwil is almost on the doorstep, and it is only 15 minutes to Lake Baldegg and Lake Sempach. And with the Alps in sight, the routes to the ski resorts are not far either.
