Safenwil is a municipality in the district of Zofingen in the canton of Aargau.
Safenwil is well developed for traffic. Hauptstrasse 1 (Zurich-Bern) runs through Safenwil. The Oftringen junction of the A1 motorway is located a few kilometers west of the village. The connection to public transport is provided by the SBB railway line Lenzburg-Zofingen (with the Safenwil train station and the Walterswil-Striegel station).
By car: Zofingen 10 minutes, Oftringen 10 minutes, Suhr 14 minutes, Lucerne 35 minutes, Zurich 38 minutes, Basel 41 minutes.

The best known and by far most significant company is the Emil Frey Group.
