Achesten is a small district in the municipality of Frutigen in the canton of Bern. The house is at an altitude of approx. 1,195 meters above sea level. and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape. In Achesten there are some traditional wooden houses that give the place a charming and rustic character. The nature around Acheten is breathtakingly beautiful. There are numerous hiking trails and mountain bike trails to explore. In Frutigen, 10 minutes away, you will find all services and grocery stores.

getting there
There are 2 ways to get there from Frutigen:
On the one hand, the direct route and the shorter route (5.7 km) via the old Adelbodenstrasse. On the other hand, the Adelbodenstrasse in Engstligental can be used, which is a little more convenient, but also almost 10 km further. It is also possible to take the post bus to “Axis Church” or use the ski bus in winter.

Quality of living
The chalet is a former holiday home with a separate apartment. It was most recently operated as a youth home. It is very quiet and sunny in undisturbed privacy and has a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. It is located in the middle of nature and yet you can reach the Elsigen-Metsch ski center (Adelboden-Lenk ski area) in 5 minutes. The house was built in 1936 in the chalet style. The total renovation of the property dates back to 2002-2005. The pellet heating and also the water pipes (own source) have been renovated and renovated over the last 10 years. The house is in good condition. The plot has parking for 5 cars, a playground, and a spacious terrace with access to the kitchen and living area. The room heights vary from 2 to 2.3 m. The house is divided into two units (9 rooms on 3 floors and a 3 room apartment on the ground floor). There is also a balcony on the 2nd floor.
