This chalet sits on a large, private and prime plot in Chesières, close to the well renowned International Schools of Aiglon College, Collège Alpin Beau Soleil and the village of Villars.

For decades Villars has been the mountain home of famous sports stars and a host of high profile international business people. Many of these residents were drawn to the skiing, private mountain environment and easy access from Geneva Airport compared to its rival mountain resorts. Trails include the Bretaye to Ollon route, with views of Lake Geneva, vineyards and the Leysin ski resort. A cable car from Col du Pillon ascends to Les Diablerets Massif, home to the Glacier 3000 mountain station, Peak Walk suspension bridge and Matterhorn views.Villars overlooks the Rhône valley from an altitude of 1,258 metres (4,130 ft). The peak of Mont Blanc is clearly visible from parts of the village. The centre of the ski area is accessible by a gondola lift to the 'Roc d'Orsay' 1,952m. There are around 112 kilometres (70 mi) of skiing slopes in the skiing network of Villars with Gryon, Les Diablerets, and Glacier 3000. The slopes on Glacier 3000 offer a much longer ski season. Furthermore, the ticketing system of Villars is part of the Magic Pass skiing area that covers 30 resorts in the larger area.
The close-by Aiglon College is a private co-educational boarding school, broadly modelled on British boarding school lines. It is an independent, non-profit school and is located within easy walking distance from the chalet.
The Collège Alpin International Beau Soleil is one of the oldest private boarding schools in Switzerland. The college provides a full boarding education for students from over 60 different nationalities aged 11?18 years old.
