Wiesen is a village with 300 inhabitants and is located 15 kilometers from Davos Platz. Politically, Wiesen has been part of the Davos community since 1999. In the village there is a small VOLG grocery store as well as a primary school and kindergarten.

From Davos Wiesen you can reach the Rinerhorn cable car with the family-friendly snow sports area and the toboggan run in just under 9 kilometers. Davos itself with its Parsenn and Jakobshorn ski areas can be easily reached by post bus or train. To the west are the communities Schmitten, Alvaneu Dorf and Lenzerheide (20 km). The tourist offer consists of three hotels and restaurants, a small children's ski lift and cross-country trails. Meadows is a popular walking and hiking area in summer and winter. In a few minutes by car, a beautiful golf course and thermal baths invite you to sport and wellness in Alvaneu Bad.
