EPP apartment on the upper ground floor of a mayen located above the village of Eison (St-Martin) in the Val d'Hérens, at an altitude of 1720 meters. Ideal as a summer second home.

South-west facing, it enjoys optimal sunshine and a clear view of the bottom of the Val d'Hérens.

It is accessible by the route des mayens d'Eison then by a private dirt road. The last 30 meters are done on foot by a path. In winter, access is on foot from the village of Eison, in 20 minutes.

The building is a former mayen renovated and enlarged in 1976. The basic construction is in larch plank to which was added a part in masonry for the extension.

The apartment is not insulated, the windows are nevertheless wooden with double glazing. The two bedrooms have recently been renovated and insulated from the inside.

Situation
40 minutes from Sion. The apartment is above the village of Eison, Commune of St-Martin.
La Commune, located in the heart of the Val d'Hérens occupies both sides of the valley. Composed of 9 authentic hamlets, it offers a dream climate, notably a high level of sunshine and a fascinating geography rich in a thousand facets.
At every bend in the path, the visitor's gaze is surprised by the diversity of the landscape: from the high mountains to the hot spring of Combioula, passing through the forest and the green pastures.

The Municipality has 890 souls who are particularly active in the many local societies (sport, culture, festivals).
In Eison there is the possibility of eating in a mountain inn and in the village of St-Martin there is a food store appointed as a post office, a bakery, 2 restaurants and small shops.
A reception structure comprising a nursery, a crèche and a Reception Unit for Schoolchildren opened its doors in 2013 in addition to the village nursery and primary school. Public transport is provided by PostBus.
