A word from the architect
"I was inspired by the iconic terraces of Lavaux to design a building that harmoniously integrates with the landscape, embracing the natural lines of the terrain. The gardens and terraces flow seamlessly into each other and gently connect to the natural ground, in the spirit of the characteristic vineyard walls of the region.

Every detail, from the embrasures to the rooflines, subtly echoes certain architectural codes of the winegrowers' houses, without attempting to reproduce them. Mineral tones and a terracotta-hued roof have been favored, echoing Chardonne's built heritage.

Resolutely contemporary, the architecture elegantly fits into its environment and offers a balanced dialogue between tradition and modernity."
