Public transport: The municipality is located on the main road from Vevey to Moudon. The A9 motorway crosses the municipal territory. The municipality is well served by the Vaud Express Network thanks to the "Train des Vignes" on the Vevey-Chexbres line (S31 line). Outside the municipal territory is the Puidoux-Chexbres station on the Lausanne to Bern line (S2, S4, S21 lines). A PostBus service, the Lavaux line, also serves the municipality from Cully.
Schools and day care
Puidoux is part of the Centre-Lavaux school group, formed by the municipalities of Bourg-en-Lavaux, Chexbres, Puidoux, Rivaz and St-Saphorin. Students are schooled in the municipality from kindergarten to 6th grade. Then they are distributed among the colleges of the group.
