Corbières is a pretty village of about 450 inhabitants. It is part of a town of just over 700 inhabitants, grouping the villages of Corbières and Villarvolard. It is located in the district of Gruyère, 6 minutes from Bulle and about 20 minutes from Friborg.

The Moléson ski resort can be reached in 25 minutes by car. The town is also served by TPF buses to Bulle and Friborg.
