Welcome to Gumefens ...

I am located in a flagship town of Gruyère. Close to the lake and the Gibloux, halfway between Friborg, Bulle and Romont, I am ideal for people who want to be well centered.

I have a nice living room and a pleasant fully equipped kitchen, all completely open. For the ultra practical side, I even have a commissary. On the ground floor, I also have a large bathroom with toilet, washing / drying column and even a urinal for you Gentlemen ... Yes, it consumes much less water than the toilets.

Upstairs, I have 3 bedrooms, modest in size it's true, but so pleasant and peaceful ... A real little cocoon. The shower room is generous. I don't have a bath, always for ecological reasons. Showering reduces our consumption drastically. No worries, it is quite possible to install one.

I am a house that respects the environment or at least that significantly tries to reduce our ecological footprint. I am built from wood from our region, I have reasonable dimensions and I have no underfloor heating but no worries there, you will not be cold at all. I am very well insulated, with wood wool and not glass wool and my thickness is important. I am heated with a pellet heating system. Also, my roof is equipped with thermal solar panels which heats my sanitary water. It is very efficient and financially very pleasant. My annual costs for heating, hot water and electricity come to me around CHF 2'070.- depending on the year. That makes CH 172.- per month. It's great! The interior is all in wood, it's super warm.

My exterior requires little maintenance, notice with only 304 m2 of land, you would call me lazy if I told you otherwise. However, I feel really good there. I can cultivate my little garden, have a good barbecue, enjoy a beautiful shaded terrace and I have the sound of the river which relaxes me. My demarcation with the neighbors is made from willows (trees). They become, in summer, large and dense which allows me to be well hidden and to keep my privacy that I appreciate so much.

Since I like to have a good drink, I can store my bottles in a real cellar, humid as it should be, and I can store my vegetables optimally, as was done at the time.

I look forward to finding my new owners. A family would make me so happy. School is really not far away. Hear screams, cries, "I love you" and above all that I can continue to feel good.

A little history

The new municipality of Pont-en-Ogoz is the result of the merger of the former municipalities of Avry-devant-Pont, Le Bry and Gumefens, united since January 1, 2003.

The blazon of the new Municipality has as a definition: "Palé of silver and gules of six pieces, with the gold band charged with a lion azure, langued gules".

More precisely, it is the resumption of the three coats of arms of the old Communes. These originally came from two different seigneuries: that of Pont (gold band) and that of Vuippens (red bands). In addition, the lion's tail has been transformed to represent the merger of the three Commons.
This merger allowed some Citizens of Le Bry to find their former origin, lost in 1970. Indeed, at that time, the municipalities of Pont-en-Ogoz (a small town on the lake) and Villars-d'Avry ( hamlet above the Cantonal road) have decided to unite to create the new Municipality of Le Bry. Thirty-three years later, a new merger made it possible to recreate the Municipality of Pont-en-Ogoz.
