The municipality of La Chaux-du-Milieu is located in the valley of Brévine, in the upper canton of Neuchâtel, 10 minutes from Le Locle by the District and the Cantonal Road, 20 minutes from La Chaux-de-Fonds and 35 min from Neuchâtel. In addition, the postal buses pass to the village once an hour to serve the lines of Neuchâtel and Le Locle.

According to a study of the OFS dating from late 2013, La Chaux-du-Milieu had 483 inhabitants, which equates to 28 inhabitants per km². Suffice to say, that the villas presented here, are located in lush greenery, away from urban inconvenience.

For children, primary schooling is in the village and secondary school in Le Locle.

This place will charm you with its range of hiking, for its regional mountain bike routes or, for the intrepid, beautiful swimming opportunities in Lake Taillères which is 11 km. In winter, it is the ideal location for cross-country skiing. The Brévine Valley is famous for its beautiful cross-country ski trails. Many courses, of different lengths and difficulties, are regularly maintained.

As for downhill skiing, the ski lift "Le Locle-Sommartel" is located 4 km from La Chaux-du-Milieu. Lake Taillères aforementioned, a length of 1 km and a hundred meters wide, is appreciated for the skate, the lige and the walks on its frozen surface. Snowshoe trails complement the winter activities offer.
