Granges is a village (approx. 2,000 inhabitants) located in the center of the Rhône valley, at the foot of Mont-de-Lens. It is very popular with children who love to go to Happyland, the largest amusement park in Switzerland.
The village of Granges merged with the municipality of Sierre in 1972; it thus keeps its advantages of a calm and quiet village, with its small lakes, its hills, its castle remains, and its pretty cachet, while benefiting from the non-negligible advantages of a city like Sierre, on the administrative level and commercial.
