The Val d'Anniviers with its 220 km of ski slopes - often described as the most beautiful valley in the Valais Alps, situated between the Matterhorn and Verbier - enjoys the longest ski seasons and the best sunshine in the region.

Grimentz is one of the most picturesque villages and has the spectacular Grimentz-Zinal ski area (120 km of pistes culminating at 2900 metres). The old village breathes the authentic charm of the Anniviard villages. A few minutes by car are enough to reach one of the 4 other stations in the valley: Zinal, Saint-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin. Sierre is 20 minutes away and Sion 30 minutes away.

In summer, there are 310 km of magnificent hiking trails to explore admiring the peaks of over 4000m, countless mountain bike trails, high mountain races, the Via Ferrata, traditional festivals.

This pretty contemporary style chalet is located in an idyllic place where deer and roe deer abound. The view over the mythical Weisshorn and the Diablons is magnificent.

Ten minutes on foot are enough to reach the centre of the village. Free postal buses or shuttle buses in season make it easy to reach the Grimentz/Zinal ski area.

Features :

This chalet has been built with respect for the environment with natural and noble materials. The structure is made of solid planks, the inside of the walls is made of 20mm thick solid wood, the floor on the three levels is covered with Kährs oak parquet guaranteed 30 years. The floor and walls of the bathrooms are made of quartzite, the washbasins are made of natural sandstone laid on granite slabs. The triple glazed windows are made of wood and comply with Minergie standards. The insulation of the house is Rockwool, Swiss made from Alpine rocks. The insulation of the walls is 160mm and the roof 200mm. The reinforced concrete basement is completely insulated from the outside. These choices result in very low energy consumption.
