Autent summer mayen next to Haute-Nendaz

Sheltered from the summer heat, this mayen built in 1846 by a family Crettenand, bought and brought up to date. The family of the current owners has transformed, repaired and made habitable with a minimum of comfort.

Accessible from Haute-Nendaz (about 3 km) or Fey, Condémines by the paved road to almost 100 m. and the rest on foot, this mayen at the edge of the forest has running water thanks to a tap placed in front of the entrance, a cabanon serving toilet with septic tank, and a makeshift shower.

Inside, there is a kitchen with butane gas and a wood stove, a table, chairs and a room that serves as a bedroom with wardrobes. Below, a second bedroom is accessible by an external staircase and at the back a wooden and tool box. This cottage is not really hard to afford in winter.

His condition is good, however the roof should be better sealed and bring the smoke channel up to date. An installation with solar collectors and battery would be a plus as for comfort.

Far from approx. 300 m. other mayens, in an isolated area, quiet except for the noises of nature, it offers a beautiful view of the Vaud and Bernese Alps, facing the valley of Derborence.
