Once a village, it is now a hamlet of Champvent consisting of several buildings: a winegrower's house, an outbuilding, an old granary and a manor house called "Château ou Manoir de Saint Christophe".

The main asset of this estate is the building considered as the manor. This manor house has admirable proportions and is almost square in size, characterised by its huge hipped roof. It is embellished by a bell tower housing a bell dating from 1703 which is still in place. The interior is described in more detail later in the dossier. Listed as a national historic monument, the current owners have already undertaken major architectural projects to transform the manor house, which is not habitable in its current state.
