First let's start with a bit of history to better understand the spirit of this unique place.

In 1835, the grandson of the personal adviser of the King of Poland Stanislas II, Maurice Lerber, then owner of the Domaine en Prael, established a tilery, a sawmill, a blacksmith shop and a foundry where mainly tiles were produced. fire and all kinds of pipes.

At the end of the 19th century the company occupied about 180 workers but following the economic changes of the time the business collapsed in 1907 despite the attempts of Lerber's son-in-law to restart the business by also producing engines for Motosacoche and the electricity for public lighting.

During the 20th century and until 2002, when the current owners bought the place, there were few special facts except that the area was occupied by a few inhabitants who are known to have exploited a fish farm as well as the electric turbine.

It is therefore a place rich in heritage and the current owners, while putting it to the standards of comfort of today, have fully preserved the essence during its complete renovation, without distorting it. whatever it is.

The Domaine en Praël is today a large property of three buildings built on a little less than a hectare and a half of meadows, gardens, forest and crossed right through by the Nozon, a small river with its source at place called the "Cul du Nozon" located at the foot of the Dent de Vaulion.

The main building is a large house with thick walls retaining a touch of its industrious past while offering an idyllic living environment of the most modern and comfortable. It is built on three levels with on the ground floor a conference center and a professional kitchen as well as other rooms; on the first floor, a huge apartment and a studio, and on the second, five apartments. On the other side of the pontoon that straddles the Nozon is the barn and shed that are now the workshop, the tool shed and two boxes for horses.
