Beautiful 100 m2 PPE commercial arcade, extremely well placed in the cultural center of Geneva, sold with a renowned literary publishing house, founded by a Genevan in 1981 and with 40 years of experience in his field.
Sale due to retirement.

The publishing house specializes in the publication of very specific cultural guides concerning destinations little or not covered by French-speaking publishers and the republication of old travel accounts.
Its editorial line draws on Geneva's tradition of openness to the world and its explorers, of which Horace-Bénédict, Henri de Saussure, Rodolphe Töpfer, Ella Maillart and Nicolas Bouvier are the most illustrious representatives.

All the works published by the editions are written by specialists from the countries concerned. Most of them are academics or journalists.

Widely distributed in bookstores in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Spain and Canada, some books have also been distributed in Africa, the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. In addition, co-publishing partnerships have been concluded in several countries.

The editions have published more than 500 books and come out of the press 6 to 12 titles each year, promoting, as far as possible, collaboration with local businesses or independents.

In 2005, the editions benefited from the publishing aid grant for the realization of a project of re-editions of old stories; since 2011, the editions have received an annual subsidy of CHF 50,000 from the city of Geneva, which was taken over by the Canton of Geneva in 2019 and extended until 2022.

The company publishes more than 100 authors between purchased rights, rights to pay and works without rights (public domain).
It benefits from an excellent network of renowned, solid and efficient French-speaking distributors.

The current turnover is between CHF 200'000.- and CHF 250'000.-
The SA has CHF 100,000 in liquidity and around 45,000 works in stock representing a valuation capital of around CHF 200,000.

Sale price of the arcade: CHF 990'000.-
(a showcase room, 3 offices, hallway, toilets, cellar in the basement)
Selling price of the SA (reputation, liquidity, stock, furniture, etc.): CHF 300'000.-
Total sale price: CHF 1'290'000.-
It should be noted that the arcade and the company must be acquired together; indeed the company has commitments to respect, particularly in terms of copyright, but has no debt.

The set is sold due to retirement and the activity just needs to be developed.
