Wettingen is the largest municipality in the canton of Aargau with over 20,000 inhabitants. Around 8,000 jobs can be offered in the predominantly small and medium-sized commercial, commercial and industrial enterprises. Approximately 9,000 people commute away to the nearby economic centers of Baden and Zurich. Around 3,000 people come from neighboring communities to Wettingen.

Wettingen has very favorable traffic relations.
