For more than 140 years, the industrial buildings of the Tonwerke have shaped Lausens. A large part of these buildings has now been reused step by step.

In the Tonwerk Ost area in Lausen new Minergie buildings with generous and modern 2½ to 4½-room apartments were built. In addition to 106 residential units , usable space has also been created for commercial buildings, studios, consulting rooms and service companies . The brick buildings capture the charm of the 140-year-old industrial site, where even today high quality storage stoves are produced.

Lausen is located in the middle Ergolztal southeast of the canton capital Liestal. Living in the center of a lively community with more than 5000 inhabitants, a well-functioning infrastructure, directly at the train station, with regional train connection to Basel and to Olten.
