Just under 2 kilometers away, Steinegg Castle towers over the municipality.

In future you will live between the Thurgau canton capital Frauenfeld and the Untersee / Rhine region (border with Germany), at the foot of the ridge that tapers to the west, embedded in a lovely lake landscape with Hüttwiler, Nussbaumer and Hasensee lakes.
