A little history...

This set of the eighteenth century is a farmhouse whose development dates back mainly to the restoration.

Used as a café and a grocery store, this farmhouse helped, until the 1950s, to define a meeting place for village life in relation to local farming habits. Decommissioned, the Zurcher café has not been listed as a public establishment. However, the building was registered by the Historic Monuments Service and was classified with note 4.

Located in the center of the village of Choulex, the two main characteristics of the farmhouse are its "strategic" location and its open shape on the crossing of the Choulex road and the Chemin de la Gouille-Noire. These two characteristics combine to mark its presence from the bottom of the villager, but also from the top of the hill that dominates Choulex.

A third feature is the morphology of the ball court which has remained intact until today. The shape of this court can be likened to an irregular pentagon whose broken angle invites to enter it.

The interior, completely rehabilitated in 4 duplex apartments and triplex has done the work of a superb renovation with materials of excellent quality.
