The commune of Collonge-Bellerive covers an area of 610 hectares. It is mainly made up of the villages of Collonge and Vésenaz, as well as the hamlets of Saint-Maurice, Bellerive and Repentance. The inhabitants of the town are called Collongeois or Belleriviens.

The town, after a past devoted to agriculture, today has an essentially residential vocation. There are, however, many craft businesses, businesses and liberal professions.

The village of La Capite, served by the TPG A, 38 and 39 lines, overlooks the center of Vésenaz. The latter is rich in shops and infrastructure such as the Manor shopping center, Coop and Migros, worship centers, medical offices and restaurants.
