Areuse

The village of Areuse is located in the town of Boudry and is 10 minutes from Neuchâtel. It is also the main access point to the villages of Cortaillod, Colombier and the City of Boudry.

SITUATION OF THE VILLAS

Near the road leading to the bucolic little beach of Boudry, calm and greenery offer a privileged environment. The tram station, for the city center of Neuchâtel, and buses are just a few minutes walk from the villas. The motorway exit is also close but does not cause any noise pollution thanks to the road facilities (noise barriers, roundabout and covered trench.) It is thus possible to reach Yverdon in 20 minutes and Lausanne in 40 minutes.

ENVIRONMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Bearing the name of the river that crosses it, this village is the end of the famous and splendid promenade called "Gorges de l'Areuse". Hiking trails can also lead to surrounding villages. It is therefore easy to reach the bottom of Cortaillod following the river. A bike path allows you to walk along the coastline safely. In Colombier, the carousel will appeal to horseback riding enthusiasts. Several museums and theaters open their doors to the curious in every locality.

The two primary colleges of Boudry welcome the children of Areuse who will continue their education at CESCOLE secondary school in Colombier (both establishments are served by the tram and the respective stops are less than five minutes walk from the schools.)
