The location of the Hotel du Chamois is ideal for exploring the region which offers, for young and old, in summer and winter, many discoveries and sports activities. Let us cite in particular the various ski areas over more than 450km which are close and very easily accessible, tens of kilometers of pistes for cross-country skiers lead them through meadows and snow-covered forests, the numerous possibilities for snowshoeing, tobogganing and sealskin hike or bowling and skating rink. For summer, note the mini-golf and the swimming pool nearby. The Pays-d'Enhaut also offers a wide network of marked trails and the largest nature reserve in French-speaking Switzerland, La Pierreuse, with rocky areas, forests, a very rich flora and low marshes. The Sarine, a young and tumultuous river, also lends itself perfectly to the practice of different water sports: canyoning, hydro speed, canoeing or rafting.

Also note that the establishment is located on the very famous route of Via Alpina, which is “The Classic” of long-distance Swiss hikes. In 20 daily steps, walkers move through a world of postcards, crossing 14 of the most beautiful passes in the Swiss Alps.
