Longirod is a charming village of 476 inhabitants located on the coast and at the foot of the Jura at an altitude of 830 meters in the district of Nyon. Gland and Nyon are 15 kilometers away, Geneva and Lausanne 35 minutes by the A1 motorway.

The property offers an opportunity to create a beautiful mansion, surrounded by a park. The old farmhouse is partially renovated. The transformations were interrupted in 2016 and it is now sold as is with the finishes to be finished at the option of the lessee.

The major work is finished. The new roof, exterior doors and windows, partitions, ceilings, part of the heating and sanitary piping, and most of the electrical system are installed. Among other things, it remains to complete the installation of a heating system, the peripheral insulation, the toilets, the finishing of the walls and floors, the development of the garrets and the rural (non-habitable) and the land, and the transformation or demolition of the poultry farm.

The transformations of the farmhouse have been designed to let in as much light as possible throughout the house while benefiting from very generous spaces. It is estimated that the amount of work will be around CHF 500,000 to complete the renovation of the habitable farmhouse of around 255 m2, plus around CHF 500,000 to, among other things, renovate the rural area and the sheds, modify or destroy the poultry pen, landscaping the yard and garden, and putting up a fence and/or a hedge. Obviously it will be essential to check its estimates with quotes drawn up under the supervision of an architect specializing in the renovation of old buildings.
