Magnificent Castle
The first traces of the lower castle date back to the beginning of the 15th century; it was a
square building in its current location, perhaps coming from
a medieval tower.
In the 16th and 17th centuries, the building was successively enlarged by the construction of
stair tower, the south gallery and the latrine tower.
In the 18th century, major works were carried out on the estate, notably the construction
from the farm then the orangery.
Closer to us, at the beginning of the 20th century, were successively created: the
the interior staircase, the cellars and the entrance door of the castle, moved until the present time
courtyard.
For around forty years, agricultural activity has disappeared from the estate and the 9 hectares
of land is cultivated by a nearby farmer. The estate, which existed before this time
in quasi-economic self-sufficiency thanks to agriculture, gradually abandoned its activities and
subsequently, its vocation was reduced to partial residential occupation
